Spring Break Wheel Camp

Youth ages 12–16 are invited to discover the excitement of wheel-thrown pottery in this beginner-friendly Spring Break camp. Meeting daily from 3:30–5:30 pm, campers will learn the fundamentals of throwing on the wheel through guided demonstrations and hands-on practice. Instruction focuses on posture, centering clay, and forming cylinders as students create their own cups and bowls. No prior experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to try something new.
Summer Camp Animals in Art

In this week-long camp, young artists will explore how animals appear in famous artworks from around the world, then create their own animal-inspired pieces. Youth Wheel Week 1

Discover the excitement of pottery on the wheel! This week-long camp is designed for youth ages 10–16 who want to learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing. Meeting from 3:30–5:30 pm, campers will receive step-by-step instruction on centering clay, proper posture, and pulling forms. By the end of the week, students will have created their own cups and bowls while building skills and confidence. No prior experience required.
Summer Camp Clay All Day 1

A dream week for kids who love getting their hands dirty! Campers will spend the week exploring ceramics through hand-building, sculpting, and wheel throwing. They’ll create both functional and decorative pieces while learning the full clay process—from forming and detailing to glazing. Finished work will be fired and ready for pick-up about a week after camp ends. Perfect for beginners and returning clay fans alike.
Summer Camp The Natural World

Celebrate the beauty of nature through art in this thoughtfully designed creative camp. Inspired by famous artworks that highlight landscapes, plants, animals, and natural patterns, campers will explore a variety of projects throughout the week. This session offers the same supportive, beginner-friendly instruction, focusing on foundational techniques like centering, shaping, and creating functional forms. Campers will work on the wheel throughout the week, refining skills and creating pieces they can be proud of. Ideal for first-time potters or those looking to build consistency.
Summer Camp Clay All Day 2

Ages: 7 - 12
More clay, more ideas, more fun! This camp offers another week of deep diving into ceramics, with a focus on hand-building, sculpting, and wheel throwing. Campers will experiment with form, texture, and surface design while creating unique functional and sculptural pieces. Projects are glazed and fired, with finished work available for pick-up about a week later. A great option for kids who can’t get enough clay.
