Intro to Machine Sewing

In this Introduction to Machine Sewing, students will learn the basics of sewing on a Singer Sewing Machine.
Each student will have their own Singer Sewing machine to learn on. Each lesson is structured to teach specific techniques which are used to create the project and to build on each other. We will explore different construction methods designed to make your sewing experience fun and rewarding. Students will learn the fundamentals of sewing and using a sewing machine.

Advanced Creative Writing
with Nikki Settlemeyer
This course focuses on advanced topics and elements of creative writing, in-class experimentation with prompts, and the opportunity to share your work. You may have experience as a writer but would like a fresh perspective. We provide a safe space to explore advanced concepts together. We are here to meet you where you are, share work and inspire one another to keep writing!
Writing is an act of individual expression, but writers in community can nurture and support one another, fueling the creative spirits of all who participate. Writing in community provides greater perspective on our own writing.
Leather Working
with Pete Ruck
Join our Basic Leather Craft class and embark on a creative journey with the timeless art of working with leather. In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the fundamental techniques and skills needed to create beautiful, functional leather goods, including cutting, punching, stitching, and finishing. Throughout the course, you'll craft your own handmade leather journal while building the confidence to continue exploring leatherworking on your own. Students who finish early or are looking for an additional challenge will have the opportunity to create another leather project of their choice.
